photography: noun. the art, process, or job of taking pictures with a camera
As an artist, I view the world in a slightly different way from some... lighting, color, placement, composition... these things help me to appreciate the beauty, drama, and sometimes hidden treasures in the world around us. Capturing that moment in time allows me to share it with others and relive it again and again. No studio shots or weddings here... most of my photography is based on nature, people, architecture and animals in their natural surroundings for use as stock photos in my photo library. These photos serve as material to help me create an overall product for you.

Technology today has created a world of photographers capturing life in all of its glory. Some of my favorite shots (untouched photos above) were taken with a small portable camera or iPhone that is always tucked away in my purse, ready to capture those unexpected moments. They turn out just fine, but for special requests and activities, I depend on a trusty Nikon with a more powerful lens (untouched photos below) especially when covering meetings and events.
